Ingrédients

1/2 cup (125 mL) Spectrum® Vegan Eggless Mayonnaise
2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp (10 mL) soy sauce
1 tsp (5 mL) minced fresh ginger
1 green onion, finely sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup (250 mL) matchstick carrots
1 cup (250 mL) matchstick cucumbers
2 tbsp (30 mL) rice wine vinegar
Pinch each salt and sugar
1 pkg (380 g) Yves Veggie Cuisine® Jumbo Veggie Dogs
1/2 cup (125 mL) hoisin sauce
1/4 cup (60 mL) packed fresh cilantro leaves
1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped peanuts
5 soft hot dog rolls, split

Directions

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, cilantro, soy sauce, ginger, green onion and garlic; set aside. Toss together carrots, cucumbers, rice wine vinegar, salt and sugar; let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, grill veggie dogs according to package directions, turning and basting with hoisin sauce.
  3. Assemble veggie dogs, mayonnaise mixture, carrot mixture, cilantro and peanuts in rolls.

Astuces

  • Drizzle with sriracha hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute radish for carrots or cucumbers if desired.
